Yalinguth —
An immersive Spacial Audio Experience

Web Design. Digital Storytelling.

The Yalinguth app is an audio experience reflecting the oral tradition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Yalinguth means ‘yesterday’ In the Woi Wurrung language of the Kulin Nation.

Through spatial sound technology, you move around the locations with audio cues and a map revealing stories, songs and poems of Elders and the community.

In collaboration with Storyscape and the Yalinguth team of creatives, Rareland delivered an accessible, informative and mobile responsive website encouraging people to download the app and learn about the Aboriginal history in Fitzroy and around Merri Creek in Naarm (Melbourne).
