Growing around Grief
A toolkit for people bereaved by suicide and sudden loss

In collaboration with the South Eastern Melbourne Health Network, we developed a five-book toolkit to support those bereaved by suicide or sudden loss. Losing a loved one in such circumstances is deeply traumatic, leaving individuals feeling lost and isolated. This toolkit, the first of its kind developed in Australia, serves as a compassionate, all-in-one resource, offering guidance and support in the days, weeks, and months after a loss.

We provided creative direction, design, illustrations, and publishing to ensure the toolkit is both accessible and inclusive, representing the diverse communities of Melbourne. Each book addresses key aspects of grief, from finding support and resources to coping with emotions and healing.

This project aims to positively impact the community by providing a gentle, caring guide to help individuals navigate their grief and begin the journey toward healing.
