You’re On…. Yugambeh Country Awareness Project

Knowing the traditional name of the Country where you live is crucial for acknowledging and respecting the cultural heritage of First Nations peoples. It fosters a deeper connection to the land and honours the history and ongoing presence of its Traditional Custodians. Building community awareness of traditional names supports the visibility and recognition of First Nations cultures, helping to bridge gaps in understanding and promote inclusivity.

For Rareland Studio, based on Yugambeh Country, this awareness is integral to our practice. Our commitment to honouring and reflecting Indigenous heritage in our work is rooted in respecting the land and its history. By incorporating knowledge of traditional Country names into our projects, we contribute to a broader cultural appreciation and support the visibility of First Nations communities.

We also create bold and beautiful conceptual campaigns like You’re On… designed to build awareness through engaging visuals and a strong identity connected to culture. This campaign use impactful artwork and thoughtful design to elevate First Nations stories, enhancing cultural visibility and fostering a deeper connection within the community.
